TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Bristol that supports young people with a range of additional needs. The school delivers a varied and personalised curriculum, with a strong focus on developing social, emotional and life skills, helping students build independence and prepare for further education or employment.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2026, with part-time options available. The successful SEND Teacher will work with students from Key Stage 4 through to young adults, supporting learners with ASD, learning difficulties and ADHD, delivering engaging lessons while promoting independence and personal development.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEND, including ASD, LD and ADHD
• Experience supporting learners with independence, life skills and post-16 pathways
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, inclusive and nurturing approach
• A commitment to supporting both academic and personal development
