Salary: £145 - £230 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Swindon that supports pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition and Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The setting provides a calm and structured environment, focusing on tailored learning, emotional regulation and building confidence, independence and positive relationships.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a full-time basis from September 2026, with part-time options considered. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons to Key Stage 3 pupils, adapting the curriculum to meet a range of complex needs while supporting both academic progress and social and emotional development.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND, particularly ASD, SEMH and learning difficulties
• Proven experience planning and delivering tailored and personalised lessons
• Strong ability to build rapport and positive relationships with pupils
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• A calm, consistent and adaptable approach
