Job Title: SEND Teacher
Location: Worcester
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £160 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a rural SEND school in Worcester, rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED. The school provides a supportive and nurturing environment, with a strong focus on helping students develop independence, confidence, and life skills.
The school is looking to take on an experienced SEND Teacher on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right SEND Teacher. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with students aged 11-19 with Autism / ASD, some of whom may display challenging behaviour, delivering tailored lessons and supporting their academic and personal development.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS
• Experience working as a SEND Teacher
• Experience supporting students with Autism / ASD and challenging behaviour
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• A commitment to supporting students with additional needs
