TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Bristol that supports pupils aged 4–19 in a nurturing, inclusive and structured environment. The school is committed to helping every student reach their full potential and is looking to welcome a dedicated SEND Teacher to their team from September 2026 on a permanent, part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be supporting students with a range of complex needs including severe learning difficulties, PMLD, ASD, attachment disorders and dysregulated behaviours. You will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons while supporting individual EHCP outcomes and creating a positive learning environment for all students.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS or ECT status
• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, including ASD and PMLD
• A good understanding of differentiated learning and inclusive practice
• Knowledge of EHCPs and supporting individual learning needs
• A patient, adaptable and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
