Salary: £145 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND provision in Trowbridge that supports children and young people with a range of complex needs. The setting offers a highly supportive and structured environment, focusing on communication, independence and emotional development through a personalised and child-centred approach.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a full-time, long term basis from September 2026. The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering tailored lessons to meet a wide range of needs, supporting both academic progress and the development of life skills and independence.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working with SEND, including ASD, SLD or complex needs
• Proven experience planning and delivering personalised lessons
• The ability to build strong relationships and engage pupils effectively
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A patient, consistent and adaptable approach
