The school is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, with the potential to become permanent from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working on a 1:1 basis with a Key Stage 2 pupil with ASD and ADHD, supporting both academic progress and behavioural needs within the classroom.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working with children with ASD and ADHD
• Experience supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Strong behaviour management skills
• A patient and nurturing approach
• A proactive and adaptable attitude
