SEND Teaching Assistant

We are looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis with the opportunity for long-term roles for the right SEND Teaching Assistant. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be supporting students with ASD and SEMH needs, working closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored support, manage behaviour effectively, and promote a positive learning environment.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• At least 6 months experience working within a UK education setting
• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD and SEMH
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive and flexible attitude
