TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Salford, who are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The school has a strong community ethos and prides itself on creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.
The Primary School is looking to take on a passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a full-time long-term basis, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right 1:1 Teaching Assistant. The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis, helping to maintain engagement within lessons, supporting emotional wellbeing and working closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support throughout the school day. Experience working within a UK school is an essential requirement for this role.
The successful 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience working within a UK Primary School
Experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
A caring and patient nature
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management skills
