TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the DE72 area, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a child within Key Stage 1 / KS1 on a 1:1 basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support, encourage engagement and help create a positive learning experience throughout the school day.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Experience working within a primary school setting
Experience supporting children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
A calm, patient and nurturing approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
