Salary: £92.63 - £120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Longsight, who are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support children across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2. This supportive school promotes an inclusive and engaging learning environment, encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and a love for learning.

The school is looking to take on a proactive Teaching Assistant on a full-time long-term basis. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers to support pupils with their learning, deliver small group interventions and provide additional classroom support where required. The Senior Leadership Team are committed to supporting and developing the successful Teaching Assistant from day one.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification desirable

A minimum of 3 months experience working within a UK Primary School essential

Experience supporting children across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2

A positive and enthusiastic attitude

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
