TeacherActive is proud to be working alongside a Local Authority service in Gloucester that provides Alternative Provision support for pupils in home and community settings. The service takes a personalised and flexible approach to learning, supporting students to re-engage with education, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Tutor to join the team on a part-time basis, offering up to 15 hours per week. You will work closely with the Local Authority to deliver engaging, tailored sessions that meet the individual needs of pupils accessing education through Alternative Provision.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, building strong connections with learners and making a genuine difference through personalised education.

The successful Tutor will have:

• QTS
• Experience delivering high-quality tuition and planning engaging sessions
• Previous experience working within Alternative Provision or alongside the Local Authority
• The ability to adapt learning to meet individual student needs
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A patient, encouraging and proactive approach
