TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of secondary schools across Hull, offering a variety of opportunities for an English Teacher. These schools have supportive leadership teams and strong behaviour policies, creating positive environments focused on student progress and achievement.

We are looking to recruit an English Teacher on a temporary basis for supply work, with opportunities ranging from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The successful English Teacher will have:
• QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• A positive, can-do attitude
