Salary Range: £14,025.00 - £17,246.00 per annum (£28,056.00 - £34,492.00 per annum for a full-time equivalent post)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Foundation Learning Lecturer to join the team and play a key role in inspiring learners to develop core skills, achieve their qualifications, and progress onto further education, training, or employment.

The successful Foundation Learning Lecturer will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across Foundation Learning programmes, creating a positive and supportive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to build confidence, develop independence, and succeed at their own pace. You will work closely with learners to help them achieve positive outcomes, while confidently delivering innovative schemes of learning that bring your subject to life and develop students’ personal, social, and employability skills.

The successful Foundation Learning Lecturer will have:

A first class or 2:1 degree in a relevant subject area

A Masters/PhD (desirable, depending on specialism)

QTS, PGCE or DTLLS and experience in a further education environment

Experience in teaching or supporting young people in a diverse setting

Excellent spoken and written communication skills
