Job Title: History Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Start Date: 11th May 2026 – End of September 2026
Salary: £180 – £220 per day

The school is seeking a dedicated History Teacher for a maternity cover role starting on 11th May through to the end of September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and well-established department, delivering high-quality History lessons and making a real impact during your time there.
The successful History Teacher will be responsible for teaching History across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering engaging lessons, and maintaining strong classroom management.
The successful History Teacher will have:
• QTS with a specialism in History (ECTs welcome)
• Experience teaching History up to KS4
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• A passion for bringing History to life in the classroom
• A positive and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
