TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Nottingham that is seeking to appoint a Humanities Teacher. This school serves a diverse community and is committed to providing students with the opportunities, support and encouragement they need to achieve their full potential, despite the challenges they may face.

The school is looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher on a short-term basis to provide immediate cover, with the opportunity for the role to continue on a long-term basis from September. The successful Humanities Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, maintaining high expectations and demonstrating excellent classroom management throughout.

The successful Humanities Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)

• Experience teaching Humanities in a UK secondary school setting

• Strong classroom management skills

• The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A resilient and adaptable approach to teaching
