Salary: £120 - £130 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist educational provision in Bristol that supports young people with additional needs. The setting promotes a nurturing, inclusive and pupil-centred environment where every learner is encouraged to achieve their full potential through personalised support and engaging learning opportunities.

The school is looking to appoint an IT Instructor on a full-time, permanent, term-time-only basis from September 2026. The successful IT Instructor will deliver engaging IT and Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, developing digital literacy, computational thinking and practical technology skills while adapting learning to meet individual pupil needs and supporting vocational learning opportunities.

The successful IT Instructor will have:

• Experience delivering IT, Computer Science or digital skills lessons

• A relevant qualification in IT, Computer Science, Education or a related field

• Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs

• Strong knowledge of digital technologies and current industry practices

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

• A positive, adaptable and student-focused approach
