TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Good secondary school in Derby that is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their team. The school has a supportive ethos, high expectations for all learners, and a strong commitment to both academic achievement and student wellbeing.

The school is looking to appoint a Maths Teacher on a temporary basis from September, with the opportunity for the role to become long-term for the right Maths Teacher. The successful Maths Teacher will deliver engaging Maths lessons, contribute to pastoral support, participate in after-school activities, and play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential.

The successful Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Maths specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Maths across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
• Strong classroom management skills
• A willingness to support pastoral responsibilities
• Commitment to contributing to after-school activities and the wider school community
• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
