Salary: £14.00 - £14.25 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of welcoming and supportive nurseries across Monmouthshire, who are looking for dedicated Nursery Practitioners to join their teams. These settings are committed to providing safe, engaging and nurturing environments where children can learn, develop and thrive through play-based learning and positive early years experiences.

The nurseries are looking to take on flexible Nursery Practitioners to support their settings on a shift basis. Hours can vary between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, offering flexibility to suit your availability. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children across different age groups, helping to deliver engaging activities while promoting children's learning, wellbeing and development.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 Childcare qualification or equivalent desirable

• A minimum of 6 months’ experience working with children in an educational setting

• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A positive and proactive attitude

• Flexibility to work across different nursery settings and shift patterns
