TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery setting in Newport that provides a safe, stimulating and engaging environment for young children. The nursery is committed to supporting every child’s development through play-based learning and creating positive early learning experiences for children aged 2-4 years.

The nursery is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a long-term, term-time-only basis from September 2026. This Nursery Practitioner role will involve supporting children during morning sessions from 9:00am to 11:30am, delivering engaging activities, promoting learning through play and helping children reach key developmental milestones.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Experience working with children aged 2-4 years within a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• A caring and patient approach to supporting young children
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to nursery life
