Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Silvertown, East London
Start Date: September 2026
Salary: £220 - £280 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a high-performing, co-educational state school based in Silvertown, supporting children aged 3 to 11. The school is known for its strong academic standards, inclusive ethos and creative ship-themed learning environment, and is one of the most oversubscribed schools in the Newham Local Authority area.
The school is looking to take on an experienced Primary Teacher from September 2026 on a long-term basis. The successful Primary Teacher will be working within Key Stage 1 / KS1, delivering high quality teaching and learning while supporting pupils to make strong progress across the primary curriculum.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
QTS
Experience teaching Key Stage 1 / KS1
Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
Excellent classroom management
High expectations for pupil progress and behaviour
A ‘can-do’ attitude with the willingness to get stuck in
