Salary: £140 - £200 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of mainstream primary schools in Penrith that are seeking dedicated Primary Teachers. These welcoming schools provide a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential, supported by experienced leadership teams and a strong community ethos.

The schools are looking to appoint enthusiastic Primary Teachers for both short-term and long-term assignments, with full-time and part-time opportunities available. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, maintain high standards of classroom management, and support pupils' academic and personal development.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
• The ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
• A positive, flexible and proactive approach to teaching
