TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant. The school promotes a positive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential and staff are valued as part of a supportive team.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teaching Assistant for both day-to-day and long-term opportunities. The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils across multiple key stages, working closely with class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences, provide intervention support and contribute to a positive classroom environment.

The successful Primary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children within a Primary School setting

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience

• Knowledge of supporting learning across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive and proactive attitude

• Excellent behaviour management and classroom support skills
