Job Title: Psychology Teacher
Location: Newcastle
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £180 per day
Are you a qualified Psychology Teacher with QTS looking for a full-time role in a secondary school?
Do you have experience teaching Psychology across KS4 / KS5 and the ability to engage students in a supportive learning environment?
Do you hold QTS with a specialism in Psychology and strong classroom management skills?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Newcastle. The school has a welcoming and supportive ethos, with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, student achievement, and creating a positive learning environment for both staff and pupils.
The school is looking to take on a dedicated Psychology Teacher on a full-time temporary basis starting ASAP. The successful Psychology Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Psychology lessons across Key Stage 4 / KS4 and Key Stage 5 / KS5, monitoring student progress, and maintaining a focused and positive classroom environment.
The successful Psychology Teacher will have:
QTS with a specialism in Psychology
Experience teaching Psychology across KS4 / KS5
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive and proactive attitude
The ability to build strong relationships with staff and students
