Salary: £170 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Stockport, who are looking to appoint a Science Teacher. This welcoming school has a supportive Senior Leadership Team who are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where both staff and students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.

The school is looking to take on a driven Science Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start, with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period. The successful Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, monitoring pupil progress and maintaining high standards within the classroom.

The successful Science Teacher will have:

• QTS with a Science specialism

• Experience teaching Science across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons

• A positive and proactive attitude towards teaching and learning
