Job Title: SEN Teacher

Location: Carlisle & Cumbria

Start Date: September 2026 or Immediate Start

Salary: £140 - £220 per day

These settings are committed to providing high-quality education and tailored support for pupils with additional needs, fostering independence, confidence and positive outcomes for every learner.

We are looking to recruit dedicated SEN Teachers for both long-term and permanent opportunities, with September 2026 and immediate starts available. The successful SEN Teacher will work with pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 through to Key Stage 4 / KS4, delivering engaging lessons, adapting learning to individual needs and supporting pupils with a range of SEND requirements.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience working with children and young people with SEND

• Knowledge of supporting pupils with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, SLD or other additional needs

• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• The ability to differentiate learning to meet individual needs

• A patient, resilient and nurturing approach
