The school places a strong emphasis on personalised learning, communication development and promoting independence, ensuring every student is given the opportunity to thrive.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a day-to-day basis with an ASAP start. The successful Teaching Assistant will support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties, assisting with learning activities, communication strategies and personal care where required, while helping to create a positive and engaging classroom environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience working with children or young people with PMLD, SEND or additional learning needs
• A passion for supporting students with complex needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
• A patient, caring and adaptable approach
• A genuine commitment to helping every student achieve their potential
