SEND Teaching Assistant

The setting promotes an inclusive and nurturing environment where students are encouraged to develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are looking to take on a SEND Teaching Assistant with an immediate start available. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to support students both inside and outside of the classroom, helping to deliver personalised learning, encourage engagement, and promote positive outcomes for young people with additional needs. This SEND Teaching Assistant role offers the opportunity to become a key part of a supportive team, making a genuine difference to students' educational journeys. The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will be expected to build strong relationships with students and staff while maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
• A strong understanding of supporting students with additional learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
• A proactive and flexible attitude to work
