Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: £89 - £95 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Risca that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school has a strong community ethos and a dedicated team of staff who work together to ensure all pupils feel valued, supported and encouraged throughout their learning journey.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the primary age range, working alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities, provide intervention support and promote positive behaviour throughout the school day.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification (desirable)• Experience working within a Primary School setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to support pupils with varying learning needs
• A positive and proactive attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
