TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large and welcoming Primary School in Cardiff that is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The school has a supportive and inclusive ethos and is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is eager to become a valued member of their team and contribute to a positive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Teaching Assistant for the Autumn Term, starting in September. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Key Stage 2 pupil with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), helping them access the curriculum, build confidence and achieve their individual learning goals whilst working closely with teaching staff and external professionals.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary School setting

• Experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)

• Experience providing 1:1 support to pupils

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• A patient, nurturing and proactive approach

• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
