Salary: £92.63 - £130 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding OFSTED-rated mainstream secondary school in Bolton that is looking to appoint a Secondary Teaching Assistant. The school has a strong reputation for academic excellence, high expectations and creating a supportive environment where both students and staff can succeed.

The school is looking to take on a Secondary Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will provide classroom support across KS3 and KS4, working alongside teaching staff to support learning, engagement and attainment. The role will also involve delivering targeted interventions where required, helping students to achieve their academic goals.

The successful Secondary Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification ideally

• Experience working within a secondary school setting

• Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4

• Experience delivering interventions is desirable

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach
