TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Welsh-medium nursery setting in Cardiff, seeking a dedicated Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant to join their team. The setting provides a supportive and engaging environment for children aged 2-4 years old, promoting language development, independence and a love of learning through a child-centred approach.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis from September, working term time only from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will support children aged 2-4 years old with their learning and development, helping to deliver engaging activities while ensuring a safe, caring and stimulating environment.

The successful Welsh Speaking Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification
• Fluent Welsh language skills, both spoken and written
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Phase curriculum
• A caring and patient approach to supporting young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
