Is there something you wish you knew when you started your PGCE? Do you wish someone had told you that one key piece of advice you learnt the hard way? Now is the chance to share the expertise of your time as an ECT/NQT with the next wave of students.
We’re creating a social media video series and we’re looking for teachers to share their experiences, advice and lessons learned with PGCE students and recently qualified teachers.
We’d love to hear from you if you have completed your ECT/NQT induction in the last two years or you’re currently completing your induction. By sharing your experience, you'll help support the next generation of PGCE students as they begin their careers and enter the world of teaching.

What to expect
A member of our team will ask you a few questions about your teaching journey. All you need to do is share your honest experiences and advice.
Filming will take place at your local TeacherActive branch. We'll provide the questions in advance, so you have plenty of time to prepare. There will be no more than five questions, and the conversation will be relaxed and informal.
In the finished video, we'll only include your first name and the area your local TeacherActive branch covers.
Your filming session will take no longer than 30 minutes. Afterwards, you're welcome to stay for a chat with your consultant about your career, future opportunities and your next steps with TeacherActive.
Don’t want to come to the office?
You can either record your tips on your phone and send them in, or we can host the recording on a platform like Zoom or Teams. Both will be edited by us, so all you need to do is share your advice.
