Salary: £92.56 - £105 per day

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis from September. The successful Teaching Assistant will provide tailored support for a named student with complex medical needs, working closely alongside teaching staff, the SENDCo, healthcare professionals and parents to ensure the student can access learning safely, confidently and successfully. Full training will be provided where required for specialist medical procedures.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational or care setting
• A calm, patient and compassionate approach to supporting individual learners
• The confidence to build positive relationships with students, families and professionals
• A willingness to support personal care and intimate care with dignity and respect
• The ability to follow healthcare plans and work alongside medical professionals
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential
