We are looking for an ALN Learning Support Assistant to work on a part-time, temporary basis, supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant may work with pupils with Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, PMLD / Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties, SEMH / Social Emotional Mental Health, EBD / Emotional Behavioural Difficulties or ADD / Attention Deficit Disorder.

The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working within ALN settings or supporting children with additional learning needs
• Experience supporting children in small groups or on a 1:1 basis
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD or challenging behaviours
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• A caring and nurturing personality
• A proactive, adaptable and flexible approach
