‍ The Role

We are looking for an ALN Teaching Assistant for a range of immediate start opportunities, with full-time, part-time, short-term and long-term contracts available.

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will support secondary-aged pupils with a range of additional learning needs, helping them to:

• Engage positively with their education
• Manage their individual needs
• Develop confidence and independence
• Make meaningful academic and personal progress

⭐ The Successful ALN Teaching Assistant Will Have:

• Experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an education or ALN setting
• Experience working with pupils with additional learning needs is desirable
• A patient, resilient and supportive approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and willingness to get stuck in
