This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and creating a fun, safe and engaging environment outside of the classroom.

The Role
As a Breakfast or After School Club Assistant, you will:
Supervise and engage primary-aged children during breakfast and/or after school sessions.
Plan and lead fun activities, including arts and crafts, games and outdoor play.
Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all pupils.
Encourage positive behaviour, friendships and social development.
Support children during snack and mealtimes.
Follow the school's safeguarding, health and safety procedures.
Work alongside other club staff to ensure sessions run smoothly.
✅ What We're Looking For
Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or club setting.
A friendly, energetic and enthusiastic personality.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A good understanding of safeguarding and child safety.
Reliability and commitment to agreed shifts.
An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualifications and Paediatric First Aid are desirable.
