Job Title: Business Teacher
Location: Oldbury Wells
Start Date: 2nd November 2026
Salary: £170 - £241 per day

Are you a qualified Business Teacher with experience delivering the curriculum across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Oldbury Wells, who are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Teacher. The school is committed to providing a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and academic abilities.
The school is looking to take on a Business Teacher on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis from 2nd November 2026. The successful Business Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour.
The successful Business Teacher will have:
Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (essential)
Experience teaching Business Studies in a mainstream secondary school
Strong knowledge of the secondary curriculum across KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom management skills
The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons to students of varying abilities
A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
