Salary: £14.45 - £16.20 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Further Education college in Neath Port Talbot who are looking to appoint a Carpentry and Joinery Technician. The successful Carpentry and Joinery Technician will join the college's practical learning environment, supporting the effective delivery of carpentry and joinery provision.
The college is looking to take on a Carpentry and Joinery Technician on a full-time, temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the workshop, including preparing materials and equipment, maintaining tools and ensuring appropriate health and safety standards are followed.
️ The successful Carpentry and Joinery Technician will have:
Relevant experience within carpentry and joinery
Experience working with carpentry and joinery tools, equipment and materials
A strong understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment
Excellent organisational skills
A reliable and professional approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
