TeacherActive is proud to be working with Ravenswood School, an all-age specialist SEND school in North Somerset that provides outstanding education and care for children and young people with complex learning needs. The school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment where personalised learning, therapeutic support and a collaborative approach enable every pupil to develop confidence, independence and achieve their individual potential.

We are looking to appoint a full-time, permanent Class Teacher from September. The successful Class Teacher will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Autism, ADHD and Attachment Disorder, supporting both academic progress and personal development while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team to provide the highest standard of education and care.

The successful Class Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience working with children and young people with SEND is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of Autism, ADHD, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Attachment Disorder.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A resilient, adaptable and nurturing approach to teaching.
