Job Title: Complex Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Leeds
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £100 - £120 per day

Can you build positive relationships with students and provide consistent, individualised support within an education setting?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist setting in Leeds supporting students with a range of complex needs. The setting provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, independence and engagement with learning.
The setting is looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant for short and long-term opportunities, with both full-time and part-time work available. The successful Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will provide individualised support to students with complex needs, assisting with learning, promoting independence and supporting their engagement throughout the school day.
The successful Complex Needs Teaching Assistant will have:
• Experience supporting children or young people with complex needs
• Experience working within an education, SEND or specialist provision setting
• The ability to provide individualised support based on students' needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a wider support team
