Start Salary: £25 - £35 per hour

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Further Education college based in Slough, which is looking to appoint a dedicated Computer Science Lecturer. The college provides vocational education and training, supporting students in developing the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed for further education and future employment.
The college is looking to recruit a Computer Science Lecturer on a full-time, temporary basis, with an immediate start. The successful Computer Science Lecturer will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback and supporting learners in developing their understanding of computing and information technology.
The successful Computer Science Lecturer will have:
A relevant degree or qualification in Computer Science, Computing or a related subject
A recognised teaching qualification, such as PGCE, CertEd or equivalent, is desirable
Previous experience teaching Computer Science or Computing, ideally within a Further Education setting
Strong subject knowledge, including programming, computer systems and IT fundamentals
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, with a commitment to student development
