Salary: £105 - £110 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in the Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides a supportive environment for secondary-aged pupils and is looking for a confident individual who can maintain a positive and engaging classroom.

The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a temporary basis from the start of October until October half term. The successful Cover Supervisor will deliver pre-planned lessons across the secondary curriculum, with a particular focus on Maths where required, while maintaining strong classroom management and supporting pupils with their learning.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• A strong knowledge of Maths and confidence supporting secondary-level Maths
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable
• Experience delivering pre-planned lessons or leading groups of young people
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A confident, adaptable and positive approach
