Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Vale of Glamorgan
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £110 per day
Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor with strong classroom management skills?
Are you confident supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4?
Are you adaptable, reliable and able to confidently manage general cover across a range of secondary school subjects?
TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in the Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school provides education to secondary-aged pupils across a range of year groups and is seeking a confident and adaptable individual to support within the classroom.
The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor on a temporary basis, starting ASAP and currently running until Christmas. The successful Cover Supervisor will provide general cover across different subjects and secondary year groups, supervising pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Experience working with secondary-aged students in an educational setting
• Experience supervising classes or supporting learning across KS3 and KS4
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• The confidence to deliver pre-planned work across a range of subjects
• A flexible, reliable and positive approach
