TeacherActive is proud to be working with a range of welcoming and inclusive secondary schools across Cannock and Staffordshire who are looking to appoint Cover Supervisors. These schools are committed to providing positive learning environments and maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and pupil progress.
We are looking to recruit Cover Supervisors for a variety of day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities, with the potential for permanent positions for the right candidates. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise whole classes during teacher absences, deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting
• Confidence managing classes of secondary-aged pupils across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to follow pre-set lesson plans and instructions
• A proactive, reliable and flexible approach with a commitment to safeguarding
