TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive secondary school based in Tunbridge Wells. The school aims to achieve academic excellence while providing students with a caring and nurturing environment, and strongly believes that learning goes beyond the classroom through a varied co-curriculum that supports students' wider development.
The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a short-term basis from September, with the potential to become permanent for the right Cover Supervisor. The successful Cover Supervisor will work across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, maintaining positive classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Confidence delivering pre-set lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- The ability to confidently cover a range of subjects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
