Cover Supervisor

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Secondary School in Leeds, looking to appoint a dedicated Cover Supervisor. The school provides a positive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential, supported by a committed and experienced staff team.

The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for day to day or long-term cover. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring positive behaviour, maintaining a productive learning environment and supporting students throughout the school day.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• Experience working with young people in a secondary school setting
• Confidence delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects to Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4 students
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• A positive, reliable and proactive approach
