TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield, who are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor. The school offers a supportive and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and staff work collaboratively to deliver high-quality education.
The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across a variety of subjects, delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
Experience working with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils
The confidence to cover a range of curriculum subjects
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Strong communication and organisational skills
A flexible and adaptable approach
A positive attitude and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
