TeacherActive is proud to be working with secondary schools across Bridgnorth and the surrounding areas who are looking to appoint confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors. The schools provide supportive learning environments and are looking for staff who can maintain high expectations for behaviour and pupil engagement.
We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities, offering flexibility for candidates who may be looking to gain further experience within secondary education or those seeking a consistent school-based role.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absence, deliver pre-prepared work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and supported throughout their lessons.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils or young people is desirable
• Confidence supervising classes across KS3 and KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to confidently follow lesson plans and instructions left by teaching staff
• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach with a genuine interest in supporting young people's education
