Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Salary: £95-£120 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a good secondary school based in Chesterfield, who are looking to appoint a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor. The school is looking for someone who can maintain high expectations of behaviour, build positive relationships with students and contribute to a productive learning environment.
The school is looking to take on a Cover Supervisor for day-to-day supply work, covering lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively and ensuring students remain engaged with their learning, with flexibility and resilience being essential.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
A relevant qualification or degree is desirable but not essential
Experience working with young people in a secondary school setting
Excellent classroom management and the confidence to manage challenging behaviour
Strong communication and organisational skills
A flexible, reliable and resilient approach to working in different classroom environments
Access to their own transport is desirable but not essential
