Cover Supervisor

Cover Supervisors play an essential role within schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis. Although the role does not involve lesson planning or preparation, exceptional communication and effective classroom management skills are indispensable.

Role Overview

The successful Cover Supervisor based in Abertillery will:

• Hold a CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or have at least six months’ relevant experience
• Confidently manage classes with students aged 11 to 16 and above
• Maintain positive behaviour to keep students engaged and focused
• Be adaptable and willing to work across different departments and age groups as required
