Cover Supervisors play a vital role within schools, whether on a day-to-day, long-term, or permanent basis. While the role does not involve lesson planning or preparation, excellent communication and effective classroom management skills are essential.
Role Overview
The successful Cover Supervisor based in Abertillery will:
- Hold a CACHE Level 2 or 3 qualification, or possess a minimum of six months’ relevant experience
- Confidently manage classes with students aged 11 to 16
- Maintain positive behaviour to keep students engaged and focused
- Be adaptable and willing to work across various departments and age groups on a daily basis
